New Year, New Resolutions

Wow, it’s 2018! It’s such a strange and exhilarating feeling to say this number out loud. 2018. The world is changing, albeit sometimes not for the better, and memories, experiences, and wisdom are continuing to be acquired… always for the better.

And, wow, I have not blogged in over a year. Uncovering this fact made me sad and definitely informed some of the resolutions I have made for this year. Before I share my resolutions let me just say that I absolutely love making resolutions.

My Quarter Life Crisis: A Recap of 2015


Two thousand and fifteen has been a life-changing year for me. I traveled for months, exploring parts of the world that I’ve only dreamt about. I’m currently teaching English in a village of a developing country and I traveled rough, mountainous roads of Tajikistan to get here. And I left a secure job and career I expected to pursue the rest of my life, in order to embark on the world of academia.
